We help bring the Body of Christ to our parish family
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are lay parishioners who help the priest give Holy Communion at Mass, and bring the Eucharist to parishioners who are sick or homebound.
How your roster works
Our roster runs on WhatsApp, so there is no app to install and no password to remember.
Get your link
Your coordinator sends you a personal link on WhatsApp. Save it — it opens your own page.
See your duties
The month's roster arrives on WhatsApp, with a reminder a few days before you serve.
Can't make it?
Tap "I can't serve" on your page. No need to hunt for a replacement yourself.
A stand-in is found
Other ministers are asked, and the first "Yes" takes your place. You'll be told who it is.
Lost your link, or changed your phone number? Ask your group leader or the coordinator, and they'll send you a new one.
Thinking of serving?
Many of us began by simply saying yes when asked. If you feel called to this ministry, whether you are a student, a young working adult or newly married, speak to any group leader after Mass or contact the parish office.
Ministers are prepared and commissioned by the parish, so you won't be doing this alone.
“Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.”1 Corinthians 10:17
Our patron, Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska
Maria Faustyna Kowalska of the Blessed Sacrament, OLM was a Polish Catholic religious sister and mystic. Faustyna, popularly spelled Faustina in English, had apparitions of Jesus Christ which inspired the Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy, therefore she is sometimes called the "secretary" of Divine Mercy.
